Hello everyone! I am a Primary School student from Hong Kong and I hate math a lot. So if you hate math, enjoy this website!
People all think that math is extremely important. I cannot deny that many parts of our lives are filled with math, like going shopping, paying fees... Math is everywhere. But, what people fail to understand is that math is quite time-consuming. Whereas we could easily have just used a calculator to do complicated calculations, school teachers still tell their students to calculate by themselves. Math is not just the four operations, but also how to have a good sense of logic and have a clear mind. Math is also quite unnecessary nowadays, because the technology is great.
As for why I hate math, it's mainly because I think it is completely pointless. Doing plenty of stupid calculations don't help at all, they're just the same method over and over again, they just change the numbers. Also, it is undoubtedly very boring. What's the point of doing thousands of calculations when you mightn't even use them in the future?
